World population day on july 11 is a holiday that`s dedicated to focusing on the importance of population issues . The day was established by the United Nation as a result of the massive interest people had in five billion day in1987. 
The motto of World Population Day is to Control population growth and ensure a healthy planet. Celebrate World Population Day and Raise Awareness.

  In more modern times, the fear exploded with the population of a book called  THE POPULATION BOMB Its author ,an American biologist, warned the western world of the condition he had seen in the new Delhi. Overpopulation was soon blamed for everything from poverty and poor resource management to destroying the environment. Some countries began experiments with morally and politically dubious methods of population control. China became the poster child and its one child policy resulted in a disastrous gender imbalance and like other control measures in Asia it was eventually repealed but the enemy had been identified as overpopulation.
